Farcaș Paul
I am a Lecturer at the College of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences (FSPAC), Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where I teach undergraduate and master’s courses in Public Relations, Event Planning, and Branding. My teaching and research focus on strategic communication, brand identity, and the ways global branding principles are adapted to local cultural and economic contexts.
My Ph.D. research (2012) examined the outsourcing of public relations services for local businesses, providing a foundation for my ongoing interest in applied branding and marketing strategies, particularly within the hospitality industry and local food sector. I explore how restaurants, food producers, and hospitality brands build authenticity, engage communities, and leverage storytelling to compete in increasingly globalized markets.
Bridging theory and practice, my work emphasizes culturally grounded branding, experiential marketing, event management and communication strategies that support sustainable local business development.
